
Mission & History
Mission: The National Hispanic Professional Organization (NHPO) is a networking, non-profit, membership-based organization that provides a myriad of educational seminars and professional development training to foster and promote self improvement, professional advancement and personal achievement.
History: Founded January 1, 2004, in Houston, Texas the NHPO currently has twenty rapidly-booming chapters and is projected to add several more chapters in 2008. The organization’s leadership has developed an aggressive plan for strategically controlled growth. The NHPO’s leadership firmly believes that a solid infrastructure, strong form of governance and a successful track record are key elements for positive and successful expansion and growth for NHPO. As the network of NHPO increases, it is imperative that all chapters work collectively and stay focused on the organization’s mission and objectives. Under this philosophy, organizational discipline and projected membership growth, NHPO will become an organization to be reckoned with nationally. The men and women of the NHPO are dedicated to creating a professional organization designed to provide the resources necessary for self-improvement and empowerment.
